The staff was helpful, especially with directions. I appreciated the location near the Royal Palace. I found a restaurant with a good variety of options available (at reasonable prices), near the coffee place that offers cake in the lobby. It really created an easy-going atmosphere.

The breakfast was substantial and offered good variety. I liked the coffee (a good way to start the day). I got fresh fruit at the end. The hotel provided a bonus with complimentary drinks for many dishes.

The rooftop pool was a highlight and created a great area to relax (views are good). The pool area was well kept and clean. I observed that the hotel is built to keep the rooms quiet, despite its location on a main street.

The air conditioning barely cooled my 'superior twin room', even after fiddling with the settings for hours. it was quite uncomfortable, especially during the day. also, the promised city view was mostly obstructed by a building across the street. I expected a better vista considering the hotel's height. this was frustrating, though the staff offered no solution.

the staff changed our room without any problems. it was from a double bed to a twin bed and was handled well.
the pool seemed like it needed more cleaning. there were flies and a dead gecko floating, and i never saw anyone clean it. also, i was promised a 20% discount at check-in, but it never came off any food or drinks. i found this a bit annoying.

the restaurant offered delicious options for lunch and dinner i found several dishes to be quite tasty. the staff was very helpful and quick to respond to requests we had.
the wifi signal in my room was not very strong it made streaming videos difficult. the street outside was busy and noisy especially during the day.
